Visited the Opera house for a show and after felt like some Italian pasta. Found this restaurant and being a warm night sat outside on the promenade... with a magnificent view of Circular Quay, the ferry terminals and the Harbour Bridge. The menu was comprehensive (can view online) and settled on the signature dish, spaghetti marinara. From the first mouthful there was an explosion of flavour that one can rarely find in this dish. It was served in baking paper sealed in a dish. When it was opened the aroma was heavenly, for those who love the marinara dish. Food, family and service. Michael from the Eastbank café brings the gold stand, full circle on circular quay. This is must place for your stop! I come here semi regularly with my mum and I always leave feeling very satisfied and happy with my experience. The fettuccine is delicious and the... customer service is lovely. The girl who served us today, Miriam, was absolutely delightful and such a sweet server. She was welcoming and fun to talk to, engaged with my younger niece, made us smile a lot, and was an overall highlight of today’s experience. The owner and other servers are also very welcoming people. The food always meets my expectations and I’m excited to come back again.read more
